HELP US REACH OUR GOAL OF 10,000 QUESTIONNAIRES BY MAY 31!
Did you know Hepatitis B (HBV) is the leading cause of liver cancer for all APAs?
1 in 10 Asian Americans is chronically infected by HBV when a simple blood test can diagnose it,
and vaccination can prevent liver cancer or failure.
OCA has partnered with Nordstrom and Hep B Free for the Hep B Campaign in honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and to raise awareness around hepatitis B in the community.
Make a difference by taking a simple questionnaire at
www.nordstrom.com/APAHM!
Tell your family and friends and help spread the word!

Hep-B Free and Nordstrom has teamed up to help raise awareness of the importance of getting tested for hepatitis B – the leading cause of liver cancer and one of the greatest health disparities facing the APA community. According to Hep B Free, one in 10 Asian Americans is chronically infected with hepatitis B versus one in 1,000 of the general population.
The campaign is to gear up everyone to go to www.nordstrom.com/apahm and complete a short hepatitis B awareness quiz. It takes less than 5 minutes and you don’t need to provide any personal information.
